I moved to Oregon in 1991 for its incredibly beautiful landscape. This is the Alsea River. It flows from the Oregon coast range to the sea, 48 miles. It is a delight for fishing, salmon and steelhead abound. I really enjoy exploring different styles and brushwork. I love how close landscape comes to abstraction -- just shapes and colors.
