I just loved painting this woodpecker who was snacking on a luscious cactus bud! I love painting birds of any kind and this one was special. The black on white, or white on black. was a special challenge. So I painted this gem over a three day period. This 8" x 8" oil painting was done on gesso board and comes framed with a wide black frame. He is looking for a nice home. Thank you for visiting!
