At the end of our driveway is a group of day lilies that pop up out of the ground and then only last a couple days. One day I drove by and there they were, all pink with the setting sun creating all these delicious shadows and highlights on them. I pulled my car off the road, jumped out of it, and proceeded to photograph these beauties in this special light which only lasted about 5 minutes. Then I created this pastel in my studio earlier this year using my impressionist technique. This artwork comes ready to mat and frame. It will be shipped flat with a cover to protect it.
