These mountains in are part of Big Bend National Park on the Texas/Mexico border. They are a site to see! The light changes constantly during the day and this time of day the hills appeared to be blue. This is a pastel painting that is 12" x 16", larger that I usually paint my pastels. It was done on sanded paper and comes unframed and unmatted.
