I was raised around chickens and roosters. Ours were all white so I am fascinated by all the colors that roosters and chickens come in. I loved painting this cocky rooster with the red-brown feathers. I could imagine him strutting around the barnyard with all his hens following him. This painting is in oils on gessobord and is 6" x 6". This painting comes FRAMED and ready to hang with a wire. The frame is black and 2 5/8" wide. The outside dimensions are 10 3/4" square.
