"Merry Mermaid of Matlacha" is a 5" x 7" high original signed pastel painting. These colorful buildings in Matlacha, Florida on the Gulf coast used to be fishing shacks. When the fishing was no longer a viable profession, the shacks were painted bright colors and became gift shops for tourists and locals alike. Pine Island is known for having the "Old Florida" look.
