Painted on location in France. We would drive by this house and field frequently on trips from the Chateau to Avignon. Every time I would paint it in my mind. One day I said 'Enough' and two other painters came with me before breakfast to set up and paint from a side road. This is a great way to meet the locals, the farmer's wife came by on her bicycle and gave us a charming critique! Painted on location in France.
