'Blue Sash' was painted from life at a local arts center. I painted this in one long session, with bold brushwork and a limited palette. I didn't want a tightly rendered piece, just one that was truly expressive. It is currently(as of Jan 2015) at the Silvana Gallery of International Art, Glendale, CA
