My aim was mood, a stillness in the pose, a pause - a moment of reflection.
The model is a family friend, the kimono was made by one of my daughters. The light was from the window. I played down color for this one, opting for greys. Interestingly that made the notes of color stand out and sing. Painting shipped without frame. Framing options available. Includes shipping within the USA.
