One more painting from Vesper Meadow. I liked the sheltering branches of this huge white fir. This was done during a workshop with Lupe Galvan, which was great. We got to look through his amazing sketchbooks of gouache, oil, casein, watercolor, and more. He had a great tip to use paint store samples with holes punched in them as value-comparing strips.
