I got to go to England for the first time! I went down to the lakeshore in the evening from our B&B in Keswick. (A nice bartender told me you don't pronounce the "w.") The light was beautiful. I was listening to a group of women talking nearby-they were having a great time and it is their weekly summertime ritual. Also met a nice couple who rescued a Border Collie; the dog came from Sligo. When I paint when I am traveling those times are always very memorable. This is gouache on paper and is unframed. I prefer not to varnish gouache since it is darkening.
