Another learning curve! I decided to try to paint a dog. I love Dachshunds so this doggie portrait was an obvious choice. Dogs are new territory for painting, but what better way to learn than to dive in and paint? I loved the expression on this pup's face, as well as the colors in the glossy fur.I certainly haven't given up painting my beloved cats, but it's fun to mix it up a little! I can sometimes limit my post office trips to a couple times a week, so there may be a slight delay before some paintings get shipped.**NOTE: I won't be able to ship paintings until after July 19, 2019. I am convalescing after surgery. (I'm going to be fine!)I try to photograph the colors accurately, but it's difficult to predict how colors will look on each tablet, computer monitor, or phone. Some colors may appear different in real life (as is inevitable with any picture seen online).
