Another acrylic painting! I'm having fun with these acrylic paintings! While I don't imagine that I'll ever stop loving oils (or stop using them frequently), I am enjoying the easy clean-up of acrylics and the quick drying time. This is truly a "Daily Painting" since I finished this in one day. (I don't often do that, especially with oils.) What a beautiful kitty and what gorgeous, clear eyes! Truly it was a joy to paint this lovely tabby and to add all the detail in a little 4x4" mini canvas. Note: I updated my blog after over a year of neglect. While this painting is not featured in the latest post, here's a link to the blog with the update! I can sometimes limit my post office trips to a couple times a week, so there may be a slight delay before some paintings get shipped. I try to photograph the colors accurately, but it's difficult to predict how colors will look on each tablet, computer monitor, or phone.
