I love this sheltering shadehouse that Ruth designed. With its organic barrel shape and green screencloth it blends right in with the garden. Painted during my Fall 2024 artist residency at the beautiful Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, California. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 12" x 9" in a maple floater frame. This painting will be part of "The Wonders of Plein Air" exhibit, May 3 - June 25, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California. I love this sheltering shadehouse that Ruth designed.
