It was a joy painting at Glen Cove, a quiet little beach tucked into a corner of the Carquinez Strait. I loved the echoing patterns of spiky thistles and agaves, flowering stalks and distant power towers. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 9" x 12" in a maple floater frame. This painting will be part of "The Wonders of Plein Air" exhibit, May 3 - June 25, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California.
