I love the magnificent dome-shaped palms that dot the terrain along the Martinez shoreline. Instead of growing taller they seem to grow fuller and rounder, hunkering down against the wind. It was a joy painting with friends along this peaceful marshland trail on a sparkling summer day. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 9" x 12", in a maple floater frame.
