It was so peaceful painting at this pond at beautiful Blake Garden in Kensington, California. I love the circular patterns of the waterlilies and the flashes of orange and silver when the huge koi fish come to the surface. Joy! Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 9" x 12" in a maple floater frame. This painting will be part of the Co-Op Invitational Holiday Exhibition at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts in Tracy, California, November 14 - December 21, 2024.
