We all need a light in the darkness. Fireflies are nature's little floating flashlights. They flicker about lending their beautiful glow to all like tiny beacons of hope on a dark night. Apart from the light they're not very pretty. They're what I call ugly beautiful. They remind me that we can all shine bright no matter what we look like or where we're from. "Beacon" is an 8" x 8" oil painting on 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted neutral grey and the canvas is wired and ready to hang. We all need a light in the darkness.
