Here’s the view to the other side from my sunny afternoon walk Galveston Island State Park. This is my happy place! It’s less touristy than the beaches along the seawall in Galveston and often provides a nearly empty stretch of beach, perfect to soak up some sun and bask in the view. I couldn’t decide which view I liked more so today I painted both. These are little 8” X 8” paintings that might turn into something bigger some day, but for now I’m enjoying the spontaneity of these little gems.
