My exploration of ink continues, this time in my favorite genre of figure drawing. It's been a pivotal practice to build up my draftsmanship, and it's one of the most challenging and engaging pursuits for me. While each sketch in this series takes only a few minutes to accomplish, I rely upon years of diligent figure drawing practice. My objective is to capture a gesture as economically as possible to increase its expressiveness and allow the drawing to remain spontaneous and fresh.
