Idaho is my new home. I moved here from Maui in Nov’19, and am slowly starting to explore my immediate surroundings. The natural beauty of this area has surpassed my expectations, and I haven’t even been to most ironic sites yet. I miss Maui, but Idaho is already filling my heart with joy and inspiration. I have been working on a series of small paintings to capture some of the spots I’ve been to, in a simple distilled way. A winter scene on the way to Silver City (Owyhees). Idaho is my new home.
