Painting and drawing people was and is my first love, always brings me back to the reason why I am an artist in the first place. A human face poses a million challenges, from merely anatomical technicalities to a complex emotional spectrum that defines us as humans and enables us to relate to one a other. I am fascinated by how the knowledge of anatomy unlocks access to the latter. I am working on it every day, in my sketchbook or on the easel... I think being an introvert who likes to observe helps me to tune into the mystery and magic of a human face as well.
