This is my second attempt, this time in oils. My watercolor attempt was a failure! I like using oils better because they did not dry out in the sun and wind. I named this "Washing of the Water" after the beautiful song by Peter Gabriel. Although this is not a river, it somehow reminded me of that old song. It's starting to feel a little warmer here, a little like spring, but the trees are not blooming yet. Some green pond stuff in the water, and a beautiful blue sky though, there is hope!
