I grew up on the South Side of Chicago, and St. Patrick's Day was and still is a big event in the city. Green beer, green t-shirts, lots of singing of Irish songs, and yes, they still dye the Chicago River Green. I've been on a baking binge and found these cupcake papers on Amazon and thought this would be a fun painting. Of course, I just happened to "stumble" on the chocolate foil wrapped coins as well! :) So, happy spring, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
