It is seldom that all things I love as an artist come together in one image. We were at Voice of America Park Sunday morning, and this little sparrow was perched on a rusted barbeque. I waited and waited for him to land on the handle, finally he did, and posed perfectly. I love the rusty abstract elements combined with realism.
