This little chihuahua came to live with me as a sickly, heartworm positive, foster dog in October of 2021. I took him along his journey of medication, heart injections and provided him with a warm, clam and safe environment in which to heal. In February of 2022, he ws cleared for neuter surgery which originally was thought he couldn't endure. Two weeks later we adopted him. He's a light in my life and a constant source of calming and love. Living his best life, Trucker now sports fancy coats and boots so that we can still enjoy a walk in the frigid midwest winters. This painting, "The Red Coat" is 11.5 x 10 inches. It's pastels on arhival paper and is sold matted and framed under Museum glass.
