I had an art fair in Belleville, IL and happened upon the Missouri Botanical Gardens after the show. The iris gardens were in full bloom so I snapped off gobs of reference photos. This painting is pastel over a watercolor underpainting. Artwork is 8" x 12" and is sold framed under AR Glass in a wide black frame with narrow gold inset.
