There's a great deal of planning prior to painting a still life like this—shopping for the flowers and pumpkins, compiling the set-up, perfecting the lighting... But my favorite part to paint was the spikey orangey-red flowers—so fun! This painting is 19.5" x 19.5", pastels on archival paper. Framed size is 27" x 27".
