During my travels to Provence during the month of July, I spent several days painting plein aire in the lavender fields. This is one of the studio pieces that I did from those studies. It would have been an awesome trip had it not been a record heat wave for all of western Europe! I'm glad I went--amazing experience and plein aire painting opportunities. Want to go back!
