Day 2 of 15 backgrounds in 15 days.
I'm not sure where I'm going with these backgrounds, but I assume that something about them will morph over time as I include them for 15 days. I'm finding it fun to include interior settings. This is a quick daily painting, shown as 5 x 7 and also shown cropped to 5 x 5 inches. Available either format, matted and ready to frame. Based on a studio model at a table, I added the glass. At first I painted the window view black as night, and it looked like she was in a nightgown and kind of sad. It wasn't the mood that I wanted, so lightened up the window area a bit and imagined a nighttime city-scape at the window. Either way, it's a solo girl at a window, with a solo glass of merlot.
