You've heard the song about drops of Jupiter in her hair? This girl has bands of Saturn around her head. A girl dressed in taupe, wearing a sunhat. I'm taking an online class that's looking at Van Gogh's marks this week, hence the parrallel lines in this little piece. Note: Photos include the original painting in muted grays, and the current tweaked version. I actually like the earlier grayer version and can paint it back, if desired.
