Day 1. Here it is September again. This is my 4th year to participate in the 30 in 30 challenge to complete 30 paintings in 30 days. This year my September schedule is crazy so I was a little reluctant to join in the challenge but I decided to give it my best shot. My theme this year was suggested by my friend Joyce to do 30 paintings of doors and windows. I had hoped to paint a few paintings in August so I could get a little ahead, but oh well 😔. I have no idea why I chose to start with this complicated of a subject! It's also larger than I normally paint in a day. I guess I was drawn to the kind of abstract geometric composition and also the challenge of mixing all those different greys. Here we go again. Wish me luck!this painting won't ship until 10/15/18
