It's fun to paint such a different landscape. Being from Texas the California landscape seems so different to me. I've been a few times to visit my brother and driving around I'm always struck by little things like how different even the trees look to me. On this one I was loving the view of the buildings up in the hills. The Autumn leave were and added bonus. It's fun to paint such a different landscape.
