Day 26 of 30. One of my students shared this photo that he had taken of some wild mustangs near Ruidoso NM with me. I didn't know that there was a herd of wild Mustangs in Ruidoso! They are so beautiful. The sad thing is a month or so later he told me that the big guy in the front was struck and killed by a car. Not that I didn't believe him or anything, but after I finished this painting I decided to do a search for information and found out the horse that was killed was named Star. I'm not sure if this is really him or not, but I still thought Star was a great name for such a beautiful horse! This painting won't ship until 10/15. Day 26 of 30.
