These birds are red-whiskered bulbuls, native to Asia. A thriving population now also lives in SoCal in the Huntington Gardens (where I photographed them) and the surrounding neighborhoods. I love seeing them for their dramatic spikes and flashes of red. And they make a beautiful song. Lovely! These birds are red-whiskered bulbuls, native to Asia.
