This is the second painting I made from these pomegranates. You will see that I painted over another painting. I sanded that down, creating a lovely texture onto which I applied the new paint. Sometimes it’s fun to have an abstract or totally different painting to paint on top of. You can either cover them up completely (which I did here) or let some of the base colors peek through, creating some extra interest. Do not be sad about the bunny, though! He had a good run.
