This landscape was yellow and green(the green areas are for water drainage) and looked like a quilt! I did this painting in thick oil paint on a 7x5 masonite board. I like using thick oil paint as it gives paintings a luscious texture that can’t be replicated in a print. This could easily be framed by placing it in a standard photo frame with the glass removed.
