This was the first of the "Pop" series. I was doing white pastel painting on black paper and suddenly felt the urge to put bold, vibrant colour down. I wanted to see the colour "pop" hence the category. The more I do, the more I feel the abstract and figurative coming together and I'm really enjoying the process.
