My father, who often painted in oils as a hobby and got me fired up about it at the age of about 5 or 6! was always a keen garderner. This is just one a quite a few works I painted inspired by his garden. The garden really was just like a Monet painting .... nothing 'perfectly lined up', nothing staged.
