I am really trying hard lately to free up my painting style and have been very inspired by other artists works here on Daily Paintworks to do this on the small format. In the past, up until the spring of 2022, I have always painted in the same way, style or manner. I do paint from my heart, becoming totally lost in a sort of meditation....and I will always enjoy that way of painting, but I admit some of what I think are my best works are the 'looser' ones. My usual style, according to other artist friends, critiques or visitors, is 'impressionist', but my aim is to 'loosen' up this style, to paint with much more freedom.
I have had enormous luck, to have travelled with my artwork and sold worldwide, so it will be interesting to hear the feedback from those who have been used to seeing the more 'impressionist' / realism paintings!
