This is the delightful village that I walk down to - every day if I can, to go for a coffee or drink in the evening and then make my way back up the into the hills (not right to the top of the mountain- though pretty impressive aren't they?!) mainly to get some exercise in! Being an artist is a very sedentry 'passion' .... sitting for long periods at a time is not good for the back or posture generally so a good brisk walk is an absolute must. This little village is just a few minutes (5 - 6) drive in from Spain's Mediterranean coast, nestled in these lovely mountains between about half way between Valencia and Alicante. I love it so much because it still keeps a 'Spanish' local feel to it, despite it being fairly close to some important holiday resorts - but just far enough away! Will be exhibiting it locally over the next few days, though I dare say it has a possible buyer already! Hurry if you fancy it on your wall!
