Painting this forest scene was inspired by a fall hike with WHO (Women Hiking the Ozarks). We accessed a section of David’s Trail off Hwy.101 across from Bidwell Park. The trail descended into the forest headed toward Red Bank recreation area. We explored views of Lake Norfork, sections of historic homesteads, and an old stone well.
