When I was in Greer, Arizona recently I went for a walk behind our cabin one morning and discovered this pond. As I approached the pond slowly a small animal jumped in and swam accross the pond. I later learned that it must have been a muskrat (thus the title). I also saw eight deer cross the meadow. I wished I could have gotten a picture of both but at that time I didn't have my camera with me. When I went back later - no animals. :( Lesson learned.
