It's been raining here in Florida for two weeks. Painting outdoor windows for the Daily Paintworks Window Challenge didn't look promising this week. So I set up a studio still life in front of the window and included this little cast iron squirrel nutcracker. He looked like he was praying for sunshine, so that became the title of the painting.
