I've painted a larger version of this one, and wanted to try another smaller one, and I like it. I think the bigger one has a stronger impact but I'm happy with the blending of colors and the gaze. And there's something gentle, hesitant, and active about the posture of the body. Yup! I've painted a larger version of this one, and wanted to try another smaller one, and I like it.
