Driving through the Abiquiu area I saw some interesting red rock, topped with with beautiful white rock sediment. I wanted to bring those beautiful formations to paper highlighting a chamisa bush that I had photographed along the way. 'Abiquiu Area' is watercolor and pen on watercolor paper.
