I purchased an oddly shaped vase at a ceramic art exhibition (its wider on one side making it look a little lopsided, which is why I like it so much). I cast a bright light on the tulip and vase to get a dramatic shadow. I thought it had an Alfred Hitchcock vibe (only those of a certain generation may get the reference). This was confirmed when a friend commented that the shadow was looming and intimidating. I totally love it anyway!
