Media: Encaustic and Mixed Media

I use encaustic (hot bee's wax and mixed media) to create my paintings. Many layers of wax, imagery, drawing, shellac inks, oil pastel, soft pastel, watercolor, oil pigments and many others are added to create a painting. At times I may have 15 layers or more of wax to complete a painting. I
use a torch to fuse each layer of wax to each other.
