Day 7 — The only reason I know this is a Silver Duckwing Phoenix is because I also took a picture of it's credentials at the county fair. Curious, I looked up the breed: The Phoenix is a German breed of long-tailed chicken. It derives from cross-breeding of imported long-tailed Japanese birds similar to the Onagadori with other breeds. Primary use: ornamental Egg size: Medium Temperament: Unfriendly, Docile Ornamental and unfriendly, but oh SO pretty.
