Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas — These are quail eggs from a diner in Shoreham, VT. There are cartons of chicken, quail and goose eggs at the check out counter. I love repetition in art, but executing it is another story. After about egg #5 I was losing steam but I stuck with it. Quail eggs are tiny and hard to crack open but they sure are pretty.
